World of Warcraft: Is Alchemy Good on WoW TBC?

Many players are gearing up for what The Burning Crusade has to offer in WoW Classic. While much of this requires understanding the tuning methods you need and growing as much WoW TBC gold as possible, there are a few other features you should be aware of. One of these features is Alchemy which we will introduce in this article.

About WoW TBC Alchemy

If you're considering using Alchemy on your WoW TBC Classic account, you'll want to learn more about the ins and outs first. In The Burning Crusade, alchemy is the distillation of ingredients such as herbs to make potions, elixirs, and more. Skills can also be used if you have raw gems that you want to transmute to create jewelry. They can also be used to transform primitive elementals into other primitive types.

What Are Cauldrons?

There is a new product available in TBC with Alchemy known as the Cauldron. You have five different kinds of Cauldron, including the Cauldron of Major Fire Protection, Cauldron of Major Frost Protection, Cauldron of Major Nature Protection, Cauldron of Major Shadow Protection and Cauldron of Major Arcane Protection.

You have up to 25 main protective potions at your disposal, depending on the Cauldron itself. You have to use a method known as Discovery if you want to find out what the recipes are.

Which profession to choose?

Of course, you'll want to know the best options for your character that can help further expand your alchemy in WoW TBC. In this case, you want to focus on the topic of Herbalism. The reason they work well together in the Outlands is because you need spice for everything except transmutation.

Which race / class should I choose?

You can get +15 Herbology from Tauren who have a cultivar. Druids are another good choice as they can gather herbs just like on the go. If you want a different choice, Rogues will come in handy thanks to their ability to sneak through mobs to get the knots you need.

These are of course only suggestions as to which race / class to use. In fact, you'll find that Alchemy has ways to help each race or class in your WoW TBC Classic account.

What makes alchemy different in WoW TBC?

While no changes have been made to the basics of Alchemy, there are still a few differences between TBC and retail. First, finding Alchemy through Discovery is something that came up as part of The Burning Crusade. However, this was canceled after the Mists of Pandaria.

Additionally, The Burning Crusade focuses more on leveraging the reputation of alchemy recipe suppliers. You will notice that Cauldrons are not present in the Shadowlands or most of the other expansions in the game. Besides, there was no alchemy lab in Shadowlands. However, in The Burning Crusade you need the Alchemy Laboratory for the Alchemist's Stone.

Therefore, as you can see, there are some nice features when it comes to using Alchemy on WoW TBC. This is a great alternative to earn as much WoW TBC gold as possible. The Boilers are of particular interest to use, given what they are capable of. You can even use them to spread protective potions that you can use throughout your raid. With new and improved knick-knacks that make Alchemy more attractive, you should definitely consider spending some time on it. Now that you know how to progress with the right races and competitions, you can make the most of what Alchemy has to offer in WoW TBC.
