While not being able to server transfer initially lent credence to the whole authentic feel of World of Warcraft: Classic, it had to come eventually. The fact is wow classic gold demands a ton of time from players, so being able to transfer and spend time with friends is paramount to the longevity of the game. First, there's a 90-day cooldown on transfers, so be sure you want to do it before you pull the trigger. There's also a gold limit that is linked to your player level (1-30 can only take 100 gold, 31-50 can take 500 gold and 51-60 can take 2000 gold). This is done to deter gold farming, and will only impact the most hardcore players as that's a decent chunk of change for a casual fan. You also can't transfer from PVE realms to PVP or from RP to RP-PVP.
Oh, and it costs money, just like the live version of the game! It's $25 per character, per move. Again, make sure you're 100% comfortable before you do it. That fee stings a lot less if you take into account all of the free transfers for populated realms that Blizzard has granted players in the past.
Leveling up fishing in WoW Classic is fairly simple, all you need to do is fish in the correct zone for your fishing level.
All players start with a fishing level of one and can train it all the way to 300, with different zones becoming available at different skill levels.
As you advance your skill, you will need to venture to new zones, so to make things nice and easy for you, we have mapped out the fishing skill range for every zone in WoW Classic, that way you’ll always know the perfect place to advance your level.
The basic fishing pole will often do the job, but if you want to increase your chance of catching a fish you can purchase a strong pole from any fishing merchant, or try to win the Arcanite version from the Stranglethorn Fishing Extravaganza in Stranglethorn Vale’s Booty bay.
As for lures, they are all sold by fishing merchants and vary in price, with Shiny Baubles being the cheapest and weakest, while the Aquadynamic Fish Attractor is most expensive and strongest.
Now that you know everything there is to know about fishing in Wow classic, you can get out there, catch some fish and earn some gold!
It’s high praise, especially this far into the title’s lifespan. With hugely-popular expansions like Wrath of the Lich King and Legion in the books, it also seems like a near-impossible task, but Asmongold believes Blizzard are on the right path.
