Old School RuneScape: How To Get Elite Void

Whether completely high-level PvM content or simply looking to achieve account progression, Old School RuneScape players are always looking for the best-in-slot OSRS items in the game. Those who want to play a high DPS role when killing bosses or doing low-risk PvP will want to unlock the Void Knight outfit and its upgraded Elite variant as soon as possible.

Elite Void Knight equipment is considered one of the best armor sets in Old School RuneScape. Turning players into a glass canon, its accuracy and damage bonuses across all three combat styles allow players to tribrid effectively without using inventory space with other equipment items.

What Makes Elite Void So Powerful?

Void Knight equipment is one of the most iconic armor sets in Old School Runescape and for a good reason. The outfit comes in four parts: the Top, the Robe, the Gloves, and one of three different Helms (Melee, Mage, and Range), and you must wear all four Void Knight outfit parts to get the full set effect.

Getting Void Equipment

All Void Knight equipment can be earned from the Pest Control Rewards Shop. Pest Control is a minigame on the Void Knight Outpost where players fight off swarms of creatures coming through portals, eventually the portals will grow weak, and you'll be able to destroy them before the creatures kill the Void Knight in the island's center.

There are three different "landers" you can embark on to do Pest Control at three different difficulties. Depending on which level lander you take, you will earn more Commendation Points on each successful return.

Novice Lander - Combat Level 40 Required - 3

Intermediate Lander - Combat Level 70 Required - 4

Veteran Lander - Combat Level 100 Required - 5

If you have completed the Combat Achievement Diary tiers (Easy, Medium, and Hard), the Commendation Points you can earn are increased by one per tier, maxing out at three. For example, completing the Medium Tier Combat Achievement Diary and playing a round of the Veteran Lander will earn you seven Commendation Points.

When gearing up for Pest Control, you do not need to worry about bringing food and potions, as dying only makes you respawn at the lander, where you can continue to fight the creatures again. Hardcore Ironman accounts are safe to participate in Pest Control as it is considered a "Safe Death."

Playing on the highest Pest Control difficulty is highly recommended to earn as many Commendation Points as possible.

Once you earn enough Commendation Points, you can purchase each Void Knight Equipment piece from the Pest Control Rewards Shop.

Void Knight Top - 250 Com. Points

Void Knight Robe - 250 Com. Points

Void Knight Gloves - 150 Com. Points

Void Knight Melee Helm - 200 Com. Points

Void Knight Mage Helm - 200 Com. Points

Void Knight Range Helm - 200 Com. Points

Void Knight Equipment also has the base skill requirements of 42 Attack, Strength, Defense, Mage, Range, Hitpoints, and 22 Prayer to wear.

To purchase the Elite Void upgrade for the Top and Robe, you first need to complete at least the Hard Tier Western Provinces Achievement Diary.
