5 things only classic WoW players will understand

1. Alignment lasts forever
The maximum level is currently 120 in Retail WoW, while the maximum level in Classic is only 60. Logic would tell you that in the current game reaching the maximum level takes twice as much as in the classic. You're wrong. Leveling in classic WoW is very slow. In modern WoW, a character with full souvenirs playing in war mode can reach 120 in just over 2 days. In Classic WoW you watch 4 or 5 days of play and even then you can only achieve it for some classes.
2. Grinding
You can't get from level 1 to level 60 in Classic WoW without grounding hundreds of mobs! Even if you complete all missions in one area, you'll still be too low to move to the next zone. This means you need to sharpen to get these extra few levels.
3. Trouble finding a dungeon group
In classic WoW there is no Dungeon Search (LFG) button. If you want to run a dungeon, better spam chat in capital letters, looking for people to play with. Creating a dungeon group can take from 5 minutes to several hours. There is also no magical teleportation to the dungeon! After creating a group, you can start a long journey to get to the entrance to the dungeon.
4. Gold is rare
Everyone is a millionaire at the WoW store! Getting the WoW gold in the Classic version is much more difficult. Gold mining is not only more difficult, but everything is so expensive. Your fast mountain and driving skills will bring you more than 1000 gold. Fixing armor costs a lot of gold. When buying drinks, you need to be competitive in air raids that will burn a hole in your pocket. And if you want to change your specifications for the weekend? 5. Go through Azeroth and conquer the first mountain
There are no shortcuts in Classic WoW. You can't just jump over the portal to get where you want to be. Instead, you must defeat many dangerous countries to choose the flight path. It's slow, often annoyingly annoying, but it's also an adventure. You feel immersed in the zones you travel through. This is especially true because you will reach your first mountain only at level 40.
